an interesting day
an interesting day
well a few interesting things happened to me today. First of all I saw my gas light for the first time since I bought my car 2 years ago. Yeah, that had me worried for a little while, granny shifting like mad. i guess holding out for lower gas prices is not always successful. Also It is wet here due to rain and when I was pulling onto the interstate on the on-ramp I gave it some throttle to pull a wimpy drift, it was going ok till my tires hit some lines left in the road from construction. then I was definatly going totally sideways looking out the windsheild at the guard rail. crap, overcorrected to the left and was looking at the grass, goes back and forth a few times till i smoothed it out. first thing i think, not something rational like "holy s***," but "I hope a cop didn't see that." Also, I tried to align my windshield squirters and when I needed them they were shooting over the roof... I got really pissed when trying to fix them later cause I was hanging out the door and testing them and they hit me in the face.
Sounds like a pretty funny day to me. Then again, anything is better than just sitting at home.....man im bored. I used to hate when my gas light came on, i would get scared and think that my car was goin to cut off in an intersection, as it did before. But now i am more careful with the gas, but DAMN these high prices. Actually i went into the gas station today with $5 in change(yes, pennies too)....the clerk gave me that puzzled look, but i was like "it aint my fault the gas is so high, every penny counts bro" and i went and pumped my gas.
oh yeah, :pface , my gas gift card was rejected too, so I had to scrape everything I had to pay for it. haha, that reminds me of a time when i was with my friend and he stopped at a gas station saying he needed some gas. He looked in his seats and found $.07 and went up to the cashregister and asked for that much in gas. they gave it to him and he pumped it for a fraction of a second.

This one time this guy in front of me in line at wawa was talking to the cashier, and he said he was lost and almost out of gas and only had like $3. So I had a little extra (and gas was like, $1.10) so I gave him $5 to help him out a little. you know that little bastard said THANKS! and bought a pack of ciggarettes.
heh, I've done that over compensating thing before.....was not too fun, and that was also the first thing I thought "****...I hope a cop wasn't around for that" but then again it wasn't going onto an interstate. the lowest i've done is $0.01 because I hit the wrong button on the pump and had to pump a little before I could go pay it. then I went back and used my credit card

i ran out once in my 240 and rolled into the gas station didnt have ne money bc the bank was already closed, some random guy gettin gas (drivin a trackter-trailer truck) gave me 10$ for gas once i couldnt believe it i said id run 2 the atm down the street 2 give him the $ bak and he was like no sweat man.. then he said nice car , is that a 240?.. im like yeah. he said he owned one once drove it into a tree, but he loved that car, lol.. so i got 10bucks for some 240 love, lol!
