im about to start plumbing my fuel system and i need some help. i dont know wether to go with 6AN fittings and hose, or with 8AN fittings and hose. im going to run either an aeromotive 13101 FPR which uses 6AN fittings on inlet and outlet, or an aeromotive 13109 FPR which uses 10AN inlet and 6AN outlet, i of course would use a reducer to make the 8AN lines work with the 10AN inlets.

will 6AN lines be fine, or should i just go with 8AN stuff?

this is a pic of some 8AN fittings we had laying around

-6AN SHOULD BE FINE but ultimitly it depends on what type of power and fuel flow u need

in that case go with -8 on the supply side and -6 on the return on you can get away with -6 on the return because its not under as much pressure as the supply side. so that would be a 1/2" line on supply , with 3/8" return . and youll max out those injectors before you reach your goal. you will need 113lbs injectors @ minimum. to reach 450 at the wheels with out maxing the injectors and that actually give you a little lei way with the tunning.

no they wont be maxed out. with a 1:1 fpr, ill be at 60 lbs. of fuel pressure when i hit boost. that means my 75 lb. injectors now work like 88lb. injectors. i know people making over 400 on 740cc injectors. and i have a friend making over 550 on 1000cc injectors. you might know him. his name is james, red zenki s14, lives up here in the boro.

Thats why i said that it all depends on the fp because with 65psi makes the 75lbs injectors act like 1100cc
