Looks pretty clean right??? Until you look in the spare tire well and its rusted to S***!other than that this car is a hawk! so what you guys think?

^Engine bay doesn't look very promising. I say $1000 tops.

I wasn't necessarily saying clean it, I just know theres a little something hiding on that strut tower.

nope nothing wrong with her at all other than that cursed rust! New tires, muffler, alternator, water pump, calipers rotors. she runs like a hawk and i got the spare tire well estimated at 800 dollars to fix. she'd be a perfect project car as theres nothing mechanically wrong with it...

i'm guessing its a base model, assuming theres minor rust and the taillights leak since the spare tire well is in bad shape, i'd say you could get no more then 1500 for it and thats if you found a sucker

well I had the rust looked at and all my weather stripping is perfect so we couldnt figure out why it happened.

weather stripping on what? the number one cause of water getting in back there is the tar sealant deteriorating over the years and letting water leak in at the taillights

The weather stripping on the hatch. And I inspected all the lights before I bought the car and its fine. It was a real bummer to find all that rust.

auto base model and rust.

my little brother just bought an s13 for 1700. it was hatch with 150k miles, SE, 5 spd, has no rust on the underbody, no leaks or other issues, in great mechanical shape and has very clean interior for the most part. the only thing was that the exterior is a little rough. oh and his is a chuki as well

you can't tell if the taillight seals are fine just by looking at em. get in the trunk and have someone spray the back of the car with a hose. see if any water comes in at the lights

Hmmm well I would assume that most people that would want to purchase these cars are the tuners/engine swappers so I would think that an auto wouldnt make that big a difference since the buyer would be putting a new engine/transmission in it anyway

alot of peopel might talk about wanting another engine but not have the means to back it up. most people would want to buy the car and enjoy it as it is , maybe with suspension upgrades or other minor modifications. having to swap to 5 spd isnt going to appeal to anyone especially since the average 5 spd swap cost just under a grand and thats being conservative

Most of the offers I've gotten (and people have flagged me down and even come up to my house) were because they wanna put an RB in it. I live in MT so these things are quite uncommon around here.
