Finally, I have them installed and running like a champ! It all started out this afternoon with rain. I was planning on skipping it again this week because of the weather, but the Rain God's seemed to answer my prayers.

Let me tell you this much; the lights are awesome! At first, I was a bit disappointed because they looked really blue; like 7000K blue, something I really didn't want. But, after firing up for about 20 seconds, they became diamond white. These things compared to the stock bulbs are like night and day.

I got to put my car back together and finish up my oil change. I'll post pics after I'm done, showered, and had something to eat. I'm just so happy that it has finally worked out for the good

Awesome Eric! Congrats on a successful install. Wait until you take it out on the road and drive around with them. It's like a veil has been lifted and you can see everything. I love it when I'm driving and all the reflectors on the road light up and the road signs glow as I approach. I also feel safer with the lights. Enjoy them man! After all you've gone through with that install, you deserve to.

Wow, these lights are amazing! They're 5000K and it's like daylight. Not that blueish/purpleish look that some have on their cars. I tried to avoid that so I went with 5000K. It has a very bright, clean white look to it.

Passenger side with HID compared to the stock bulb on the driver's side. Sorry it didn't come out good because it was broad daylight, but at least you get an idea of the difference between the two

The first pic is when I first fire them up. Kind of a blueish tint, but after about 15 seconds, it turns really white (2nd pic)

Again, first pic is blue then 2nd pic is after firing up for a little bit

I love the whiteness of these HID's. I'd highly suggest going 5000K because it looks like daylight

Thanks for the pictures. Now I know to get 5000K. Any recommendations/links towards any particular brand or set of HIDs? Eric, if you could point me in the right direct or suggest a good set (preferably under $150), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Mine are the X-Light H11 5000K. The directions are kind of sketchy on the EnGrish, but the unit is of pretty good quality. Minus the wrong wiring that is. But, for the price, you can't go wrong, I hope I got them from a local distributor, but I know they're available on ebay. I don't know how much you can get them for, but it'll be under $100 I would think.

Mine has a very, very slight blue hue to it, but it's more like a diamond white color. If you want a more pronounced blue, I'd say 7000K. If you want a very subtle blue, 6000K should do you good. Keep in mind that the lower the K rating, the more light output (lumens) you get, which would give you better illumination. 5000K>7000K

SHIFT, shoot me an email: [email protected]

If you want the same ones, I'll try to get in contact with the guy I bought them from. I only paid $110 but I've seen them on ebay before for less, I'm pretty sure. Or maybe not Maybe the guy selling them doesn't sell them anymore.

Yup, those look to be the same ones. If you can get them for $38+$45, I'd say go for it. I searched for those after I talked to the guy selling them here. I didn't want to go through the hassles of having it shipped from China or wherever it's shipped from and having to deal with customs and what not, so I bought them from a guy locally. At least this way, I'd have them in hand and should anything go wrong, I could hunt the guy down for a refund. But yeah, looks like those are the same ones.

I got 5000K H11. After driving in the rain tonight, I wouldn't go any higher. I think 5000K looks like stock Lexus and Acura HID color.

If you and _2.5S both want these lights and don't want to deal with ebay, maybe I can talk the guy into selling them cheaper. I got mine for $110, but if I bought 3-5 sets, I'm sure it'll be cheaper. Just let me know what you guys want to do. That's IF I can get in contact with him, so no promises. I had his card somewhere, but I can't seem to find it

I'm looking all around my house right now and can't find his card!! Maybe I left it in my car or truck. It's raining hard right now so I'll check tomorrow. And shipping from Hawaii is pretty cheap. I'd say it wouldn't be more than $20 or so. Once I get a hold of him, I'll try to start low. I'll offer him like $80 and see what he has to say about that Anyone else interested? Just let me know because the more sets, the cheaper it'll be, I'm sure. Perhaps a group buy?

Hey Generic, you're been a ton of help in this thread.

I would be interested in this 'group buy' if it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 100ish.

Group buy price would probably still be higher than what they're being sold for on eBay. They're going for about $85-90 on eBay. Eric was right originally... However, we do run the risk of getting cheap Chinese products. Also check out:http://www.xenonlink.com

Yeah, even with a group buy plus shipping from here, it'll probably still be more than the ebay price. But, like I said, I went locally just so I have the product in hand and I won't have to worry about shipping, customs, or any other problems I may have come across. Nevertheless, I'll try to get in contact with the dude just to see what kind of a deal I can get for you guys. If it's more than $100, I'd say just order it from ebay. Especially if you can get it for $85! They are awesome lights!

I just ordered my set, 6k's. i had them in my specV and loved em. I hate the regular halogen bulbs, so used to the HID's.

And it's a really practical investment since it improves nighttime visibility.

Hey guys go to bestdubs.com or look on craigslist for them... in ny... anyways they say they will beat any price.. i spoke with them and i can get them for 75 a piece... EMAIL me if you are interested, i plan on going by next week... ill take paypal (im an ebay powerseller hookedupstang is my login...) and send them out if you are interested... idk brand

They def dont look as good as those X ones... and that seller should def do a group discount... my bet would be he will do it for $65 shipped... im gonna reach out to him.. and post results..

He said on 10 kits he will do 75 a piece shipped to me... idk how heavy these things are.. but i gotta believe they will fit in a $8 flat rate box from USPS... plus the paypal fee... so it looks like id be able to ship them out to you for $86 bucks... im trying to work him lower...

Ok so the Xlight guy referred me to another guy if i want them below that... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWim putting in a question now...
