I like the add on grille, and wheels (that's for Wes) .

Not bad looking at all, but it would never be worth that kind of scratch.

Sorry, wrong.

Cars in Australia cost more than they do in the US...

Here is a favorite comparison I use to demonstrate..

As you may be aware, the Pontiac GTO is actually a Holden Monaro, built here in South Australia...

Over there (the US), It sells for what? around US$27,000?That converts to about AU$36,366

Same car built here(No shipping costs) sold here, sells for$60,490

check it out if you dont believe me....

That Q for $5,000 is a good deal.

Price depends on the market it sells in.

Edit: had to fix, direct link wouldn't work

Sorry, my comment was in reference to it being a US .com link ... since I was told once that you guys have the ebay over there .

I'd never pretend to know the value of cars in another country ... I pretend to know other thigns, just not that .

The pricing of cars here is ridiculous.....

I hear about you guys picking up cars for such little money, it makes me cry

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/

Look here for used car prices....

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls...INITI

There it shows the rrp... $147,700

And ebay.au can link to all ebay sites when you do a search. The seller probably listed from his base location, in LA, but the car is in Queensland

Hey OZZIE, Im a dealer here in the states. Lets make some money.

I sold a 96 Tahoe to a guy in australia about 2 years ago. I guess these trucks are worth some big coin over by you. Thats all he does is buys them, brings them there and flips them. Thats how he makes his money.

Depends on the car......

and i would need a MVD license to sell more than 6 a year...

let alone import approvals

and all LHD cars need to be converted to RHD to pass inspection, unless they are classics.....

I am not crystal on all the rules.... but a lot more hassles at this end.....

That is one thing for certain!

Other than RHD and a small Nissan decal on the trunk reflector, I remember that the exterior of Chally's Q was just like a stock US spec 94-96.
