So my friend James(He owns an MR2 Turbo and FC RX-7 Turbo) and I are at the mall racing on the new Initial D version 2 arcade, and this 15-16 year old kid comes up behind us and watches us play. I'm running an S14 turbo pitted against Bunta in his STI on the downhill of Akina. He's been kicking my arse for 20 minutes(I got within 75.6 meters of beating him) and this kid is mouthing off about my arcade drifting skills. Then he starts talking about how he was just in a tournament a week ago.
Well my friend and I give up the two seats for him and his friend cause it was their turn, and he picks an Integra AND races outside the car. Does pretty good against his friend. Still talking trash about how good he is. I tell him I've only raced like 3 or so times at the arcade there. He then tells me,"Oh so you haven't learned how to drift yet. That's cool". I tried to be nice with him and explain I was still finding the Rythm on Akina's Downhill and that's why I was struggling against Bunta. But I'll race him on any course he chose just to see how good he was. He lets me choose, and I pick the 2nd to last course, HAPPOGAHARA with all the crazy turns. For some reason it's my favorite and I'm pretty good at it.
He got the jump on my S14 right off the bat and had a lead for the first 20 seconds or so with me right on his tail. We started hitting heavy corners and i passed him and never looked back. With my friend James watching(he's better then I am) I proceded to give this kid the beating of his life, finishing with a lead of 550 meters. More then 200 meters then what Bunta beat me with the very first time I raced him on version 1 with my S13 Silvia.
After such an insane beating, the kid starts mouthing off about how he doesn't like the steering settings on the arcade.
I know it's not a real life situation, but I just had to share... :ylsuper
