AMS/Turbo240 customer appreciation track day

We have been tossing this idea around for a while here at the shop and I think is becoming more and more likely we can actually follow through with it.

What AMS is thinking about doing is sometime in between August and October we would like to rent out a track for a day. Possibly Gingerman/ Autobahn CC etc.

It looks as if it will cost $125-$200 for the day (not set in stone yet) per driver which is very cheap considering most track day costs.

We would love to get a weekend but renting out one of these monsters on a weekend is just simply not possible. we are shooting for a monday or a friday to make it easier to plan around.

We would cap it off to the first 60 people that pre-registered. This would ensure that everyone would get a lot of track time.

We would divide the 60 people in groups based on experience and skill. We will also have some local instructors on hand to do some ride alongs and lessons.

All in all it will be a REALLY fun day. Please post here if you would be interested in something like this. We need to book a date soon and your response will gauge how soon we can.

sux that it would be up in IL and not anywhere near me but i think its a great idea as im sure it would be alot of fun and i think the attendees would greatly benefit from the track time and experience....................

Wow I like the whole instructor idea, seeing how I could use some lessons and I love learning new tricks, and I live like 3 minz from AMS heh. Too bad I won't be boosting well maybe I will. But Id be interested. Especially if it was on a Friday. Just make sure its not Sep 2 to Sep 9 hehe I got a business trip..
