AMS Performance

I was looking thru ka-t.org and i came up on all the kat stuff on ams. How good are there products for the ka and is anyone running any of there products?

AMS' KA-T specific company Turbo240 is fairly new to the scene, although some of the people working there (Ivan) ran Phat KA-T out of Sound Performance back when things were in full swing.

I have complete faith that Turbo 240 will bring us some excellent products for the KA-T, but I am much less confident that these products will come out anytime soon. Their fuel setup is a good start, but we're still waiting on a manifold and the rest of the turbo kit. They seem pretty busy over there at AMS, so no telling when parts will be ready for sale.

I can't wait to see this configuration...it's _exactly_ how I want to redo my current KA-T setup.

i just recently bought the fuel package. it's top notch. i'm thinking of getting one of their intercoolers...and maybe down the road one of their fully built longblocks.

to speak of their reputation, they've had plenty of cars in different popular 'tuner' magazines.

wow crazy...ive been lookin at the ams site and if there kit is anything like it is for there evo its gonna be nuts. they seem to selling ka24de rebuilt kit basic and advance,ams ka24de built short block, a ka24de built race head. its great to see the KA starting to get alot more attention. i cant wait to turbo my ka some day

AMS/Turbo240 IIRC was Phat KA-T but then changed there name right?

They still hold the record for a 638RWHP KA-T

Ivan from phatka-t.com now works at AMS. He started turbo240.com which is apart of AMS. I believe Chris was also at phatka-t and now is with Ivan at AMS/turbo240.

Ivan worked at PhatKA-T/Sound Performance but now works with Turbo240/Automotosports...

Chris has always with Automotosports...He and Ivan make a KA combo!
