Just posting up to let you guys know I have one 4 bolt out in stock and I have 3 more with the 5 bolt flange on their way to me. If anyone was holding off for them to come back in stock, now is your chance .

Now that we have the turbos, we will be waiting for them to get the rest of the housings that we need made. It will just be a short while longer until we get them all finished up!

I've also added the 35's to our site. If you have any questions let me know.

ThanksChris

Guys, if you've never done business with AMS, now is the time. These guys are top-notch.

Ivan will tell you himself, I was skeptical for a LOOONG time. They have won me over - These guys simply know their stuff, and take good care of their customers.

Thanks Klattr1. I'd really like to see a map, however, so I could do some plotting to see if I might want this turbo. I currently have a T3/T04E .50 trim.

Just to clarify,

My understanding is that although these look just like the awsome Garrett "GT" series, ball bearing turbos, they are not in fact ball bearing turbos at all.

Is this correct?

I can see how easy it would be for someone to mistake these for the much higher end Garrett "GT" series turbos.

Seems like the add should say "NOT A BALL BEARING TURBO" in big, bold red letters.

The AMS site says "This turbo is capable of making 400hp@19 psi with the right supporting modificatons!", so I would assume it has quite a bit of potential, but I didn't find any exact specs or ratings.

I'm pretty sure these aren't bb. If they were, the price would definitely reflect that. I can see how you'd misunderstand since it's called a gt32/35, but their site also doesn't make any claims to being ball bearing either.

I dont think Garrett sells any BB GT32's. The lack of an R means journal bearings. AMS's turbo isnt BB for sure. Ivan has said they can add a BB center for extra change.

Thanks for the info Ryan!

Just to clarify.

These ARE GT Series turbos via Garrett. GT series denotes newer compressor and exhaust wheel technology, not the use of ball bearing center sections. Not All GT series turbos are ball bearing. The only turbos that are ball bearing are denoted with an R at the end of their name.

You can also tell if the turbo is ball bearing by the price. You wont find a true dual BB turbo for under 1000.

Just so that people would not get confused on the GT35, I specifically wrote in the description that it is a NON BALL BEARING turbo.

the specs apply to the AMS GT35, not the GT32...
