ok all you are familiar with that antenna that wont come out or go back in ok solution is $50(baller) or $15-$23(if your on a buget aka cheap a**) but $50 or so dollars you can purchase Shark Attack II Amplified Antenna from either locustoms.com or ebay(is what i did) anyway install time!!!!!!

ok you can start by unscewing these 2 screws dnt worry the antenna motor wont fall theres a tab that'll hold it up

ok yea i dont have a mast i lost it on the freeway i dont need it for this write up.... anyway ok unscrew the top

then pull this off

ok now to move inside the hatch area again undo the clip im pointing at
Image

after you do that pull the unit out and undo the antenna wire it has a red clip thingy on it and undo the harness on the bottom (on the right) the left is for the s2k antenna male side

ok now this part well jus call the female end thats from the car from the factory where the old one plugged in too

Image

ok now the black and red wire is wat where gonna use to power the s2k antenna i connected a a t-tap with a male quick disconnect on the red wire on the s2k antenna
also connect the signal wire to the (female) end coming from the car but do this after putting the new antenna in the hole so you only make 2 conections

then tighten the nut on the new antenna down then do the connections and enjoy ur new antenna

Looks good, but I still prefer my non-power stocker over the short antennas.

I really want to put a fox tail on it.

I picked up a volkswagon antenna years ago. Definitely better than the stock one. I have a longer mast.
