ampage difference between sr20det alternator and ka24e?

my alternator is dead only charging at 11.31 amps so.... its time for a new one my question is with change the pulley and drill the hole bigger is there a difference in ampage the ka24e is a 80 amp alternator but I dont know what the sr20det one is?

just want to my sure that im not going to over work the alternator by changing it to a small alternator

plus a sr20det alternator I can only find used the ka24e is new w/ a 2 year warrenty

hey crookedcop im on li to , Huntington. i've been out of the scene for a while and im gettin my swap back next week. do you know anywhere where ppl race? Also do you know any good parking lots out there that are good for drifting. There arent many out of the way parking lots near me. What kind of work do you have done to you car?sean
