Yea i figured that.....im assuming you ran the RCA/Remote cable through the center consol out to the back then cut a hole through the carpet? (assuming ur amp is under the passanger seat)Z_Fanatic wrote:Also, don't run the RCA's and the power cables next to each other, it can cause interference.
I have the same setup. Problem is my amp doesnt allow my passenger seat to lock in place when its sitting too far back, so sometimes if i have to slam on my brakes the person in shotgun goes for a ride! lolelninoloco7 wrote:So i plan to install an amp/subwoofer. The amp is going to be under the passanger seat, but how do i wire the Power cable from the batt. to the inside of the car, its really tough to get it through the firewall. Is there a link/pics i can see how the routing goes?
Exactly what I didZ_Fanatic wrote:There's a hole behind the passenger side fender splash guard for the wiring harness you can snake it through there and into the car, there should be a rubber boot or elbow I poked a hole through it and sealed it up with silicone once I had it where I wanted it. It comes out near the ECU, its a good route because once you get it through the firewall you can pop it out into the engine bay right next to the battery.
Also, don't run the RCA's and the power cables next to each other, it can cause interference.
