I've got an 03 g35 sedan. My Bose amp seems to have all the proper signals except i think i am lacking the remote on signal which comes from the head unit. Can anyone tell me what this voltage should be. I've googeld and found 1 volt, 2, and 4 volts? any clue?

Thanks, Bob

I always thought it was 12-14.5 volts depending on if the charging system is on (engine running)?! Check the FSM (link in my sig) for more help.

I wish. I am almost positive that the remote on signal is a very low voltage...i'm thinking like 4 volts. It gets a constant 12volts straight off a fuse.

Any aftermarket amp I have ever installed has always used a 12v remote turn on. My 01 i30 had a Bose amp that I tapped into to get a remote turn on lead for my JL Audio sub amp and that too was 12v. I can't imagine that they would make one that would deviate from that apparent standard.
