Ok, the amp works fine. But in my 91 Q it only turns on when the radio is on. As soon as i switch to play a tape. it shuts off. And I have a cassette adapter that I use to play my MP3 player and I usually listen to that. Anyone kno how to make it so the amp is on when I listen to the radio and when I play a tape, Thanks!!

how's it the amp wired? I'm guessing a line out converter? anyways what switched wire did you wire the amp to? I've had customers come to me with this situation a lot.

Sounds like the remote lead to your amp is hooked to the power anttenna wire and not the remote out or ignition wire. Factory head unit or aftermarket?

Common colors on aftermarket radio harnesses are blue and blue/white...make sure that the remote input of the amp is connected to the remote out or true ignition.

Well I dont know too much about car audio. I had Audio Express install it for me. Should I go back to them and tell them my problem or is there something I would be able to do myself? I mean if its not too complicated I would probably be able to do it. I jus need to kno what to look for. Thanks

i'd say take it back to them and they'll take care of it. You don't want to mess with it and possibly void a warranty when it was their mistake. Installers make this mistake quite a bit, it should be no more than a 5 minute fix for them.
