amp in protect mode

grounded to a screw i put in the ground of the trunk all paint gone HELP ME PLZ

temporarily run a ground wire directly to the battery. Run it outside for ease of testing.

If the amp still goes in to protect mode something else is wrong.

Then check your wiring to your speakers. There may be a short
