Here's what I would suggest:

Avionixx 400.4, ($150+shipping)

http://www.avionixxusa.com/ep/products.htm

Run the components off the front two channels, and bridge the rears (220W) to power an efficient driver like the Infinity Perfect 10.1 ($119+)

or the Perfect 10 VQ ($189)

http://www.cbrstereo.com/index...D=237

That should sound pretty good

How good are the Kappas in regards to midbass performance? I know the Reference 6000cs's I have are not that great and tend to distort which leaves a void in my system to date. Xover frequency is currently 90hz via my AudioControl 24Xs which puts too much mid-bass on my 12w6, but changing that to 60hz makes the mid-bass hole worse...

Yeah, I know...Thread Jacking...
