amp buzzing?

hey guys my setup is 2 12" MTX 5500 subs and a quantum audio solar series 1500 watt amp. and last night i was listening to it on low volume and all of the sudden my amp started buzzing. it sounded exactly like a cell phone on vibrate and it would buzz, then fade and stop for a bit, then buzz again later. any idea whats causing this?

Does that have an on-board amp fan? Might just be getting hot, kicking on, slowing down, and then stopping. Something could have fallen in there. Not really sure on that one but its a guess at least.

thats what i thought too but it doesnt have an onboard fan and the casing wasn't hot at all.. thanks for trying tho, i was about to bump this because of low traffic.

oh and it seems like the buzzing has stopped, so maybe it was just a freak thing...
