for those of u with the safc2, how much knock do u get at about 80-85

degrees outside? i got about 30 knock today and it worried me, when i cut

the car off and came back to it about 30 mins later it had droped down to 0

then when i drove it about 5 mins longer it wouldnt go over 9-10. What is

a dangerous level of knock? Sorry for the newb ?'s. thanks all.

Your motor when it gets hot is going to need more fuel int he summer than it would int he winter. Try increasing the fuel in the areas where you get knock. Mine did the same thing but only spiked to 15.

on hot days when the car sits and i start it up, it will show high knock (around 20-25) but after driving about 15-30 minutes the knock eventually lowers itself back below 5. Last night was farely humid out here while i was tuning my car. Most knock i saw while normal driving was 3 and once i started boosting the system richened up and knock went to 0.

Today was in the 90's. I started my car up and instantly saw 15 knock. Let it warm up and the number rose to 40 knock. Took it out driving and after 4 boosted pulls to 5k rpm, the knock reading lowered itself below 15, and kept driving for another 15 minutes and was back down to 5 while driving and once boost would come on, the number went to 0. So, I dont think its a problem at all.

yeh, it was pretty warm here today too and my knock stayed pretty low after driving some, i guess since it was such a short drive yesterday, that may have contributted to the high knock, didnt give it time to drop
