American parts, can you get warranty in Canada?

I have a 2010 Rogue and I was wondering if I buy the American spoiler and have Nissan install it in the US, can I get warranty in Canada from Nissan if something happens later down the road?

Generally speaking, the warranty guide states you can get warranty service and will be covered under warranty anywhere in the US or Canada regardless if you have a US or Canadian vehicle. It would 'seem' that any accessories you buy at a US Nissan dealer should also be covered in Canada. The warranty period for accessories is 1yr or 12,000mi (20,000km). I would check with your local dealer or Nissan Canada for more information.

Note: The only exception for warranty coverage is if you purchased your vehicle in the US and imported to Canada within 6 mos. The warranty is then nulled. The reason for this is to discourage those from importing new vehicles from other countries.
