American Drift Racing Pro-am comp $1000 to win

Hosting Organization(s) Slidewize Motorsports Event Type Drifting Event Date(s) 25-Apr-2008 to 26-Apr-2008 Event Description/Schedule Drift Event with a twist. This will be a competition like no other !!! 1000$ to win 500$ 2nd and 250$ 3rd (Prize $ based on a 40 car count) This Event will be a hybrid of Drifting and Auto X with an emphasis on drift driving skills ! The course will be run on the clock with designated sections that must be drifted to avoid Grip strike penalties (time added ) and mechanical clip indicators that if hit will subtract time also Bonus time removed for clean runs. We will take the first 50 drivers to preregister . Preregistration must be in by 4-20-08 or 25$ is added to Reg. fee of 150$. comps are not for seat time.

its VERY important to differentiate that there is a BIG difference between a competition and a practice event.

yea seat time is seat time... but have u seen the video its just manjing around some cones, not really drifting. and with time? not as fun. slidewize events are not fun. ever been to one last year? lame. a practice for beginners/ameuters with judging? no way.
