Maybe the next Presidential election will have someone with the fortitude to stand up and get things fixed. Of course, doing so will piss others off so it comes as a wash.

- Dems got a "shot across their bow" when they were de-throned as the majority in Congress because the American people were tired of their actions- Reps then got a "shot across their bow" when they were de-throned a year and a half ago for doing the same thing the Dems were doing- Dems in power are still doing what the Reps were doing and what they were doing before the Reps took over

I would have thought some of them would have learned by now.

telcoman. You're one of the few people here who understand the concept of "opportunity cost." The government certainly doesn't.

It's time we Sat back and inventoried our assets and our liabilities. Just continuing on a course of fix it by throwing money at it is ludichrist. One asset we need to recognize, and employ, is out ability to produce food. We have the world by the short hairs if we ever stand up and tie the price of food to the price of oil. That will never happen because it violates the "throw money at it to fix it" policy of the current admin and apparently the candidates, regardless of party.

telcoman, if you ever run for anything, you've got my support.

Congress is there to do the business of Congress, not the American people. I would almost not cry if the dome for congress spontaneously collapsed.

I would have no issues if we b1tched-slapped all forms of Gov't back into place. Feds seem to think they need to press forth their own plans because the state Gov's are incapable. I say bullsh1t

LOL

Thanks

How about if I test the waters by running to bring InfinitiChica back to offer a female perspective here? I still don't know if she is an actual attorney but I like and admire those that are not afraid to speak up and offer an opinion even if I don't always agree with them.

I don't think that will be happening in this lifetime.
