Hello everyone,

I recently have had an issue with my ambient temperature sensor. It started dropping in temperature a few weeks ago, it dropped all the way to -40°. Then I researched the issue and ordered the part. I just received the new sensor, I opened my hood and tried to locate the old sensor. It appears the the old sensor fell off because there was no sensor. I looked where the sensor should have been and it was gone. I have not a clue what happened to the old sensor. So I ordered the pigtail connector. My question is how do connect it? There is a brown wire and I think blue wire but it seems like the new pigtail connector has both black wires.

It won't matter, the sensor is an RTD type and has no polarity.
