agreed... 20k, are they out of their mind... 10k MAYBE to someone who really wants a stupid low miles active.maxnix wrote:What I want to know is what is he/she smoking?
Sharp eye! Does look suspicious.Q451990 wrote:I just noticed something... does it look like there's a difference in the paint color between the fender and door in this picture?
Well we know for sure that he will have this car for a long time.....DetroitJazzMan wrote:I spoke to the owner (On serious witch hunt for an Nice Active) what he wants 20K I offered him 10K and he flat rejected it. I figured the car is so nice ( claims he chainged fluids even in storage) if I drove it gently and later had timing guides changed I would be in good shape. Its about the only 90-93 that I've seen that I would even consider buying. Still holding out for 94-95 Active
With guides not being done, I wouldn't go more than 6.5 K. Even with the low mileage, all the components are aged. This car underwent some serious sitting to have that low of a mileage...sometimes that's worse than a car with say... 45-50K which was exercised more frequently. I'd flush that engine well as soon as I got it.elwesso wrote:its worth way more than 2k.. Id think 8k would be a good price that id pay if i had the money.
Do you know people over there? I've been interested in the possibility of shipping cars to either, but particularly Dubai, for awhile.66mgb wrote:He should advertise in Dubai or Saudi. That's where he would get top dollar!
No.. Well techincally it does both. Adjustable shocks adjust damping levels, active suspension can actually lift or lower each individual strut.MinisterofDOOM wrote:
Really? Because I thought it varied damping levels...
Sorry Hitman. When my dad bought the 95 Q with the TCS and heated seats, it listed for $54K. I think my dad paid $48 or $50K. So long ago it's hard to remember exact numbers. You're right in the fact that I don't ever thing the 90-93s ever were listed at over 50k, active and all.AZhitman wrote:It never retailed for $52K. My 95 sold for 38K new.
My t was over $56K with a Gold kit, wood dash appliqué, and lo jack (removed before I bought it).AZhitman wrote:It never retailed for $52K. My 95 sold for 38K new.
My mistake. Old thread, but after looking at my paperwork, I was looking at the papers for the original owners FIRST Q45, a 91 Touring, which they traded in on my 95. The 91 was the one they paid $38K for.maxnix wrote:My t was over $56K with a Gold kit, wood dash appliqué, and lo jack (removed before I bought it).
