Well, now I started getting into photography. :D

Past weekend, me and a couple of guys went out and took a few pics of our cars. Hope you guys like my amateur photography.

Thanks. I was shooting with my Canon 40D with 28-135mm and 50mm f1.8 lenses, and used Lightroom 3 to enhance the photos.

Need shots in front of Walker Brothers! Of course, I won't believe it's really Walker Bros unless you send me some food samples. ;)

Nice shots! You should see about taking some shots in front of Adler, Shedd or The Field Museum. Roosevelt Road bridge is a good location too, but it would be a PITA to get a decent shot with traffic and whatnot. Also the Bahá'í Temple in Evanston is simply amazing, but I don't think it would overshadow your car, in fact it might be great for contrast!

Or you could just do a series of caliper closeups with a macro lens. :yesnod

^Seems like you lived here before. :D

I never heard of Walker Brothers until now, seems like a good place for food and a quick shoot.
If the weather holds up this coming Sunday, we will shoot around Merchandise Mart and on the bridges, etc.
Bahai Temple is a beautiful place for pictures, but not sure for cars since not much space to maneuver around.
Or of course, I could take pics of the calipers, but that would be too boring. :D

And thanks everyone for comments.

Oddly enough, I just got into photography recently as well. I just picked up a [url=1966 Minolta SR-T 101 with the original 58mm f1.4 lens, and have on order a 37-105mm 1:3.5 Macro Zoom lens and [Literally just ordered] a 80mm-250mm 1:4.5-4.8 Macro Zoom lens. I'm running through my first roll of "real" shots, not "feel the camera out" shots, and I can't wait till I get them developed. :D

(You can blame Otto and Razi for my sudden and extreme infatuation with photography, BTW. I never knew there was so much to cameras until I got this relic! Thing takes AWESOME pictures when the user isn't screwing up, haha.)
