Turns down the volume of the radio each time I arrive at a stop sign???

The other day when we were downtown my girlfriend told me that I'm starting to aggravate her because I kept turning down the radio each time I get to a stop sign or a red light.

I never noticed this by myself and my girlfriend swears that I do this each time lol.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Sorry if this isn't a serious or mechanically inclined thread, just wondering if I'm just a freak or what. lol

Thanks in advance for your responses.

if you actually think about it tho, its not a bad one to have...

You turn the music down, so if anything happens at a stop sign or light your at you can hear it... and avoid it.. if that makes sense.. haha.. it made sense in my head..

I also do something similar. When going through a neighborhood I turn it down because I don't want to get unwanted attention or anything. Also...because sometimes my gf has girly music and...yeahhhhhhh -self explanatory-

Most people turn down the radio when they're looking for something or someplace (a particular business, address, etc.) I'm sure the stop sign thing is similar.

Do you have the 6 stacker.

If you do.Hit the Audio button till it shows speed volume.Use the tune button to turn the Volume adjust up or down.

I have the tech package with the stacker and xm radio and thats how i adjust it. It just like the old ford cruise-a-matic.The faster you drivethe louder it gets.

Hope this helps you out some.

I use the speed volume in the Versa and the Buick. The change in volume in the Versa is not all that great, so a lot of times I turn it down manually, too. Speed volume in the Buick works much better.

Applause!!

No...it is not a weird or bad thing to do. I feel it's incredibly considerate to those drivers or pedestrians around you.

Not sure what kind of "music" you listen to while driving or how loud it is played - but there are a lot of choices that can be disturbing as h*&# to other people. I always am conscious of how loud my music is and usually adjust the volume at lights, stop signs, residential areas, etc. just out of pure respect and courtesy for other people.

This world would benefit greatly from more people like you (and I apparently) who practice good manners and consideration for others.

Perhaps your girlfriend can learn something from you?

Peace.

I have the tech package on my versa as well and there is 3 setting levels for speed volume. you can either turn it off or choose low med or high. I kind of think it's a useful feature.

I'm always adjusting the volume, too. I like to have it just barely loud enough so that i can hear it clearly, so when i'm on the highway, it goes up, downtown, it goes down, etc... I usually turn it down at lights as well.
