Ive done a few searches and read around, and I'm just assuming that if we all motor kids want a cat back, it'd be better just to get one custom made?

It seems like most of the catbacks available for our car are 80mm+, which is great for turbo, but too big for NA. I know the 5zigen is available in 65mm, but are there any others that have smaller piping available?

Trust (GReddy) also makes a 60MM exhaust system..But, I'm willing to bet there is more turbo exhausts rather than N/A. I also think that RS*R makes an exhaust system for it, but, it might be turbo only.

If you want custom made...the price would be based on the metal you chose and the shop you go to. Probably less than an exhaust from some company like GReddy. The general for custom made exhausts are 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhausts, I think..

3" is great for non turbo ka. Initially with basic na mods it may not perform as well as 2.5, but with a ka built to flow 3" would suit perfect.

I am currently getting a 2.5" exhaust custom made for my car, let me tell you that the savings are substantial. It costs like 500 for any name brand exhaust. I, on the other hand, am getting an obx header, high flow cat, 2.5" pipe, and muffler, all for 490. It was only 175 for the cat, pipe, and labor to weld on the 70 dollar muffler i bought. Go with custom, the price is just great.

with a exhaust from a company like greddy, hks, etc.. you're paying for the research and development, i'm sure you know that. BUT they design their exhaust's in a way for max flow. Max flow = more power. A Exhaust shop's welder will not have the time to design you're exhaust for max power he will get it done, you will still gain power, but it won't be as much as you would get from lets say a 5zigen, hks, apexi..
