Ah, yes. The old nurture vs nature argument. Although hesitant to take the middle road...some would argue that, in the case of retardation, it can be caused by both. Example - genetic mutation ending in retardation resulting from an environmental influence on the mother. Some retarded children are said to have been "programmed" that way due to their mother's overexposure to the sun, or from certain types of drugs, etc.

Now, to try and tie this back in with the 240sx...hmmm...might take a while!
