guys i just bought a set of coil overs for my 240..the question is ..i got stock struts right now n the performance store said it was okay to use them wiht this coil over set..on the 240 the front spring is wider then the back n then plate on the front is also wider where the spring sits..the coil over springs they sold me are the same for front n back...is that right or does that mean i need struts for this kit or they ****ing me n sold me the wrong kit?

you prrobably have what's called coilover springs... if so, return it since it's crap

these are coilover sleeve springs

these are big mac daddy-O kei office coilovers

see the difference?

if you can't afford it...

do it like me: get lowering springs instead

come on, just think about it, do you really think the cheap stuff works? it's like cut springs but more unpredictable

as long as it's for your car, it will fit but it will probably suck

assuming it's made for your car: it will fit

you can get used eiibach sportline that'll drop 2. something inchs for your car instead though for about 100$

springs are not a wear and tear item, it's okay to buy them used

240 front springs are waaayy huge, the are way larger then the rear.

take back what ever crap that store sold you and get something good.

stiffer aftermarket springs will soon blowout your stock strut's.

yes, you got screwed.

Ya, you got screwed, but its pretty much your own fault. If you would have asked before you bought everyone would have told you they were garbage. You would have been better off with crappy eibach's. Hopefully you can get your money back and save it towards some real coilovers.

you bought a CHEAP coilover kit. its not a true coilover system. probably something from arospeed or worse.

throw them in the garbage. if you want a real setup you are gonna have to pay for it. im moving this thread to the suspension forum since it pretty much has nothing to do with drifting.

We don't even know what product you have man there are probably hundreds of no name lowering springs with adjustable perches...Im sure some fit fine, some fit with some work and some wont fit without a lot of work. You own the product, you own the car....go find out!!!! If you cant afford much then how can you afford to drop $150 on something that you don't know will fit your car?aftermarket springs can and most likely will be a different size then stock, and will have a different perch if a new one is included...Get some pictures, or a name, so we aren't guessing if some spring some guy sold to you that is the same size front and back...
