The reason i say this is because i worked on the t/c rod bracket a while back. I replaced both of them because they were banged up. Didnt torque the bolts that hold them to the chassis. Recently i changed the brake pads and after that i heard this creaking noise every time i braked abruptly. Same noise appeared when i turned the way either left or right. I figured it was an issue witht he brakes- like i didnt tighten the calipers all the way or something. But nope- turns out the screws i didnt torque about 3 months back for the t/c rod bracket came loose. I tightened that and then no more creaking : ) Similar wituation with the tension rods. The screws came unloose after a little while and knocked when i braked hard- i thought it was the bushing, so i changed em. But nope, it was the loose screws! Anyway i just thought i'd share this with you guys. So remember to torque your bolts!
