i hav a 89 240 im about to under-go a ka24e 2 ka24de motor swap and auto 2 5spd swap at the same time just thought i would ask if the aluminum driveshaft really dose add tourqe or should i just go with stock before i spent the 400 sun dollars? Thanx Jason

I'd go with a 1 piece steel... and why would it be $400? A local driveshaft place could probably do it for $150 or less.. or check out the sponsors.

at driveshaftshop.com the aluminum drive shaft is $450 i dunno any place that sales it for cheaper

Shaft Masters is a Nico sponsor and they sell them for a touch over 300.

I dunno if they offer a discount for Nico, email them and ask.

paid 315 shipped for my aluminum ds from shaftmasters during their christmas sale lol. honestly, an upgraded ds should be at the bottom of the list. for me it was up there since i threw in a J30 diff and wanted the ds to have the proper length.
