So as the title sort of implies... i made myself a throttle cable bracket out of aluminum. If some people don't know why, its because i own a '91 240sx and my throttle cable was a wee bit too short. I was just wondering if over time my bracket will lose its shape due to the high temperatures under the hood and because the bracket is aluminum? The aluminum is 1/8" thick.

I did the same on my 91 but my bracket is 1/4" thick and I'm sure it will not bend or warp with the heat. Yours however just try it it it bends then bend it back or get a thicker plate. It wont melt.

haha, im glad to hear im not the only person out there with no real throttle cable bracket. I had mine pinched in the stock mounts and then ziptied about 8 times to keep it from comming loose, didnt know i needed a zenki cable.
