Hi,

The Subframe Bushings On My Car Are Shout....When I Brake I Hear A Loud POP From The back Also When i Shift From D To R The Same Thing Happen...(Auto S14 FTL)

So 110% It's My Subframe Bushings Are Out And I have Two Choices..:

1- Replace Them With Aluminum Subframe Bushings....From SPl And Have A Peace Of Mind And Start Getting Other Suspension Parts ...But I'm Afraid Of Noise...

2- Replace Them With Brand New Subframe Bushings....

The Car Will Be A Drift / Track After I'm Done With The 5-speed Swap And KA-T With A GT32...

So Does Aluminum Subframe Bushings Transfer MORE Noise Into The Car And Can I Handel The Noise Until The Project Start.....?

Regards,

Ali

No doubt. They transfer more noise for sure. I'd use these along with aluminum bushings.

ahh ok, well your original post says you want aluminum bushings which are usually for racing applications. the collars just go around the bushings

My bushings are toast. I can move the whole sub frame with my hands and pull chunks of the bushings out.

Ill be going with them as they have the cut out so i wont have to drop the whole rear end to install them. My friend has them on the S13 and there stiff but wont transfer the noise the aluminum ones will.

Yes the subframe bushing do increase NVH but they are essential if you plan in drifting the car. And they are not THAT loud. IMO my 2way clutch type diff is louder then the subframe bushings.

They are not going to work. Your bushings should be in decent shape to use them. At this point, looks like you have no choice but dropping the sub frame to replace them all.
