Is the inner diameters of aluminum subframe bushings normally smaller than the id of standard factory subframe bushings?

The codec you're using is hard to decipher. But if you're talking about bushing collars, they just slide right in there no need to have a ball and destroy the old ones.

Sorry about the wording. I am talking about the sub frame bushings. I purchased some solid aluminum bushings and the inner diameter of the bushing was smaller than the factory bushings. I had to drill them out so the sub frame would bolt back onto the car. Total pita.I am just wondering if that is normal with after market aluminum sub frame bushings.

Depending on what kind of bushings you bought....the answer is yes. The infamous ebay bushings have been known to require some drilling.

The ones that is on sale on http://www.bings.ca didn't required some drilling compared to the ebay one. My friend didn't have trouble to pose these on is s14.

The ones I got were not from ebay but they did require some drilling, but I finally got those beotchis on.

You are correct sir! Buddy of mine bought them. Had to hone the living dog **** outa them to get them to fit. Gotta love egay.
