There is a 16 year old kid in TX who just put up a Car Domain site of his '91 S13, I criticized him for putting an aluminum spoiler on his car. He bought the S13 and later, got an the bleacher wing for free. He says, "i got the spoiler for free so why not put it on". My question for you guys is:If you got a massive aluminum spoiler for free, and did not have a spoiler on your car. Would you put it on your car?

If someone gave you a free lump of smelly runny dog poo, would you put it in or on YOUR car?

Why are you wasting time on 16 year old ricers? ...I think most of us here know out street cars dont need more downforce, dont normaly travel at the speeds to make use of a wing, and that selecting a wing is more complex then bolting on something that was free...But apperently this kid was running low on badass points and needed a quick boost...What ever let him have his fun.

Just a poll- seeing if my thoughts that aluminum spoilers are absolutely pointless on 90% of cars are correct (In addition to extreme boredem)

Says he got it for free, looks like he stole a aluminum bleacher from his high school.

I think the biggest kicker is... he had a rust-free, wingless Hatch, and drilled some holes to mount that wing on!!!

NO aluminum spoiler looks good on any car and only a few carbon fibre ones look good, and actually most of the time... no wing or very low wings that go back past the car some look the best IMHO

Good idea, I'd sell it on eBay and get INTAKE. At least something useful... Such as DYNAMATTING your entire trunk ... The JL sub sounds very nice now! Next project- dynamatting the whole car!

Like the "Wangan" style wing? The one PDM sells is starting to grow on me actually. I used to not care for them.

The aluminum wings tend to look funny because most are flat and don't follow the lines of the car well. There's one on a GT Mustang that sits real low around here and is paint matched to his car. It doesn't look to bad and it's hard to notice unless you really look at it. I'll see if I can snap a pic sometime when I see him.

You might point out that there's probably a reason why someone just gave him that wing....

I don't mind CF wings as long as they aren't simply bleacher spoilers covered with CF.

hehe I love carbon fiber wrapped parts its so funny I saw an think on a car where the owner was all proud he had a carbon fiber overlay made for his dash...Not a new dash, just a few layers of carbon fiber over what was already there...lol Cause duh carbon fiber is lighter!!! weight savings d00d!!!

I hate to say it --but IF he goes to a race track ( road course) AND the wing is adjustable, It appears to be about the right height to actually do some good. If I had that type of Wing, I would only put it on at the track though.

Too much rice out there on the streets.

Yeah, it might help, but being a 16 year old douchebag...he'd most likely total his car on turn two, or sooner.

I was wondering if anyone would say it looks good. We've got one taker! Oh well, I think 30 to 1 pretty much shows the general opinion of aluminum spoilers, especially on OUR Nissans. But, what this kid has done is absolutely nothing compared to this poor, innocent Kouki.

Uggg I hate aluminum shopping cart wings, and where I live everyone has them, dodge neons, caviliers, sunfires, the really really old caviliers , civics, even a couple of decent cars with okay looking mods have them and it just completly ruins the look. GT wings are for GT cars the end.

Thats suprising and I am disappointed in you. Jordan said you were cool but now I am not so sure. I mean peer pressure is no reason to make a decision, but you do realize all other people will think it looks crazy, right?

The only reason someone should have one of those wings on thier car is because they need them to keep the as$ end down if they are going above 150 mph alot. That car cannot do 150 mph even if it tryed it's as$ off.
