Aluminum kick plates

The dealer will install aluminum kick plates at all 4 doors next week. Exactly where do they go? Will they replace the black plastic that's already there or will they go lower so as to protect against the 'rub' from the lower door weather strip?

No, they do not extend below the sill to protect it from scratching.

Complete waste of money in my opinion. When I was buying a car these plates were in a pckg. and dealer refused to remove them.

I'll trade with you. I can remove my stock ones and mail them to you if you can do the same with your Aluminum.

Not sure if they can be reused but I'm thinking they can. Let me know if you are interested.

I only paid like $30 to have mine installed with my company discount. I like the look of them a lot. $30 well spent. I just wish the ones in the back said Rogue on them.

Where can I buy clear, vinyl tape to cover the rocker panel and protect it from the grinding dirt under the weatherstrip?

They are simple to install. Took me like 10 minutes for the whole job. Not sure why anyone would pay someone to put these on.
