As far as I know... Nothing to worry about.
The one at 240sxmotoring seems legit.

Check out the sponsor Shaftmasters, very good ones.

No problems with daily driving and they bolt up. You get rid of the joint in the middle of the OEM driveshaft and the carrier bearing on it that can go bad. Also much less weight.

I'm sure the money you're considering putting into the drive shaft could be used better elsewhere on your car.

Aluminum Driveshafts are perfectly fine for daily driving. They are great, you could possibly even notice an increase in fuel mileage. With a one piece solid shaft you may hear a little bit of noise when shifting or just a tiny bit of diff noise. Nothing bad at all just because you are eliminating the center support bearing and rubber insulator that causes power loss and slop. Just go for it, it is not a bad upgrade at all.
Make sure you also change the rear seal on the transmission when you replace the shaft since it is right there. :)

The Driveshaft Shop makes a really good driveshaft. Shaftmasters does too, the one on 240sxmotoring.com looks like the Shaftmasters units. I have dealt with both and they are both great quality. The Driveshaft Shop one does have re-greasable U-Joints which is a definite plus, i also like the way theirs is balanced. Both are really good though! :dblthumb:

They're lighter and, from what others say, it allows you to break the tires loose easier. I have a 1 piece steel drive shaft. Even the steel one is lighter, but other than that I haven't noticed any difference

Just go for it, these are the kinda mods you do before you touch the engine. It's always better to increase efficiency then throw some extra fuel and air in the motor.

I don't have mine on. The only way it's going to come out is if your engine or differential were to fall out, and at that point you'd have a lot more to worry about than the driveshaft

Having it level would probably be preferred.

Shouldn't be any tricks, should slide it into the transmission, then bolt it to the diff.

Only issue may be if you have the metal dust cover that is on the S14 transmission, but that can be removed (about one tap with a hammer).

If its pushing up against the transmission that is an issue, usually there is a little space there, maybe a 1/4 inch or less.

Looks like there is some kind of dust cover, if its too tight just remove that cover on the end of the transmission.

The diff is most likely the stock R200 open diff. Unless you somehow have ABS and the LSD option. Or someone has swapped it in.

For DS differences you can search for S13 ABS vs Non-ABS Differential, you'll see in pics that the ABS has a sensor just behind where the DS attaches and is slighly longer than the non-ABS diff, like 1/4 inch.

Nope, should be either ABS or Non-ABS for the DS. And most likely you would have non-ABS.

I don't know. Would be easy to spot if the rear diff has an ABS sensor or not in it though.

Sensor here is between the mounting point of the car and mounting of the DS:

You should not have to remove the dust cover as long as there is some clearance. It will never move so you should be fine. Some Driveshaft manufacturers recommend removing it but if there is around 1/4" clearance you are fine. Also that picture you posted does not make much sense to me lol. Where is the back of the transmission where the seal is?
