200usd (cheaper than original plastic "wonderbra" from nissan at dealerships) for aluminium. even with enlarged capacity.

any lucky owners?

p.s. special greetings to @VStar650CL - I think he expressed wish for something like this long time ago! :)

also - take a look at comparing picture of inside of both pans.

looks to me that "geniuses" at nissan decided that drain point should not be the lowest point in pan (like in some american muscles these days). this means - when you change your oil - you will have s*** oil remaining in pan.

Yah, we've known about that incomplete drainage for awhile. Nissan actually redesigned the pan and the new ones are still plastic but a) drain correctly, and b) have a plastic plug that's non-reuse and will strip before the pan does. IMHO it's still crap. I emailed Z1 this morning about wholesale prices and hopefully our Parts Department will stock a few, I'm sure the Express guys can upsell a bunch of them.

Sure, for vehicles past warranty and for common accessories like brake controllers that Nissan doesn't offer.

Trailer brake controls for tow vehicles. They aren't built-in on most trucks and SUV's, so we always stock a few (usually Curt) for customers who want them. GPS trackers are another item Nissan doesn't make which we usually stock (although on late models with navis they can pay for a Connect subscription instead). We don't stock a lot of that sort of stuff, but we do stock it.

I traded in my 2023 Rogue for a 2025 which has the new oil pan design. First oil change was so much easier. No need for a crush washer and a torque wrench. Just tighten until the plug tab reaches the stop. Picked up extra plugs for $4 each. The parts department shared with me that Nissan no longer supplies the old pan, only the revised design.

As VStar stated above, it drains better. I should of looked closer when I drained the oil. I find the new plastic twist plug a much better design to prevent damaging the pan. Never had an issue with the old design, but I changed my own oil.
