All I'm saying is that Prelude SIs are quick cars, and a 4-banger Altima has no chance, even with the manual advantage.

Also, they're completely different cars, IMO, despite their similar specs:
'92 Prelude Si:2.3l I4160hp @ 5800rpm156 lb/ft @ 4500rpm2866 lbsmight haul a couple bags of groceries... originally built as a sporty compact coupe...
'96 Altima (let's go out on a limb and say SE):2.4l I4150 hp @ 5600rpm154 lb/ft @ 4000rpm2882 lbswill haul those same groceries and a couple friends too... originally built as a daily people/crap hauler... with 4 doors
The point I'm getting at is that those are not two cars I would ever really think about lining up, simply because their different purposes. I'm pretty sure they Si has a notably stiffer suspension. The Si is in the upper echelon of the Civic/Integra/Celica/200SX (even Sentra, SE-R that is) crowd, while the Altima would be better placed with the Accord/Camry crowd. They're completely different animals, and this is a silly race to even talk about because it would only probably happen on the street between a couple bored kids, not a proper environment like the track. That and comparing an AT car to an MT car when talking about performance is apples and oranges, as the AT car requires only enough driver skill to hold the wheel straight (he was talking a straight line race), while the MT car is all about knowing your car and it's shifting tendencies (how much torque steer to expect, whether it's the kind of car that does better with finess or brute force, etc)...
Completely different animals.
