Altima transmission manual mode need help

Im currently looking at getting a altima coupe ive drove a couple bc my dad works for nissan, The odds of me finding a 3.5 manual is slim to none so im cosidering getting a cvt. Im looking at modding it with exhaust and stuff but im wondering if its in manual mode will the exhaust acutually change tone when i shift or will it just sound the exact same with no shift sound??

since the cvt doesn't have any gears, it won't sound like a real manual transmission car. you can still hear the changing of the "gears" in manual mode, but the rpms don't go down all the way like in a true manual. I wish i would have got a manual 3.5......

When you drive in manual mode on the CVT, I can indeed hear the changing sounds in the exhaust tone as it shifts. It's not like a motorcycle, but it's still fun. I've got intake (AEM), RL Y pipe and Nismo exhaust.

with an exhaust, you can def hear the difference. as with any change in RPM, you'll notice a change in tone.

I drive in Manual mode ALL THE TIME and I def hear the tone change. I'm running the one and only Fast Intensions Exhaust
