I don't have a SE-R or manual (Altima Coupe CVT), and I'm not stock (see sig), lol, but I had to say something because two days ago I had some fun with one on some back roads. I was getting off the highway and he went flying by on the road I was turning onto. I caught up to him (he got stuck behind someone turning), and when the person in front turned off, he went for it. I wasn't sure if he would, so I just hung back until I was sure. Once I knew he wanted to go, I got on it and was able to catch up pretty easily. I actually couldn't keep it floored because I was getting too close. Had there been a passing zone, I'm pretty sure I could have passed him. We got somewhere up past 110 and then let off. He turned off a little later and we both waved. All that to say, the car had some pep and I'm pretty sure he was on it, but it wasn't an issue.

Stock vs. stock, the 05 SE-R has 260 HP, and the 08 Eclipse GT (V6) has 263 HP, but the manual Eclipse weighs 3,472 lbs compared to 3,279 lbs for the SE-R. Of course, there are other factors, but with equal weight and ability drivers I'd say it would be close race, with the SE-R winning by just a little. With so many other factors, though, who knows. If you're a good driver and your car is running 100% and the Eclipse is stock, you should be able to take him. Just my opinion though. It would definitely be a fun race!
