Altima RPM Problem

Hi

I am new to this forum !!!

Lately my 2008 Nissan Altima S 2.5 is doing something weird, when accelerating the RPM needle goes up and down, it wont do it in idle.

I took it to a Transmission mechanic and they told me the transmission was good.

Please help me is driving me crazy !!!

Check your transmission fluid level, it's probably too low. Same thing happened with my previous car, and I had to top it up with 2-3 quarts.

Note: Be sure to check the fluid level when the engine is running. The level was high enough when the engine was off, and it took me way too long to figure out the problem.
