Ive read somewhere that I can just use the 93-97 (but see 93-01 listed) altima rotors with the q45 stuff so I wont have to redrill the q45 rotors.

Is this true? I tried searching the rotor sizes but had no luck. I also read something about the offset of the rotors being different because of FWD.

Im very confused

The mix / match game is getting confusing...

Do the five lug you will be so glad you did! That will end this problem, and open the door for endless wheel fitment options.

The only one I dont know the size of is the altima rotors.

You happen to know the size of those?

97+ Q45 are 11.6"90-96 Q45 are 11" (just like Z32)

I dont know the Altima specs.

EDIT: 93-01 Altimas use 280mm (11" ) rotors. The minimum thickness is listed as 20mm, so I'm guessing theyre normally 22mm thick. (30mm Z32 rotors have a min thickness of 28mm)http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/BR25315

hmm....So I know that the diameters are the same (11"), but do the "minimum thickness" and "overall height" actually play a part in if I can use the altima rotors?

The fact that the thickness is different makes it impossible to use with Q45 calipers. If the thickness was the same, then the height (actually a measurement of the offset of the rotor) would come into play.

I'd say Altima rotors are a no-go. You may just have to redrill some Q45 rotors.

hmm...thanks.

Im *planning* on going ca18det sometime in the near/far future. You think I would be alright for right now with just some power slot 240sx rotors, spl brake lines, and maybe some metalmaster pads?

Cause all I have right now is just a ka24e with intake, and exhaust.

disk offset is also important, even a rotor that has the right diamiter and thickness might not fit because the disk is at a different offset.

Ive heard that pads, stainless lines, upgraded rotors, and good brake fluid can make all the difference in the world. I'd say its worth a try.
