nothing new but bad times. transmission input shaft bearing is going out and the NX fuel solenoid is going out. works only intermittently... SO, this just added more time until the next track run...

Ouch that sux.I know a guy who had his nx solenoid go out and oversprayed.Left a good size whole in his block.

now THAT would suck real bad. luckily, my air fuel ratio gauge(that people say are junk) went totally red(lean) and i noticed it in time... otherwise, it could have been BOOM! time for me too.

It's all about the A/F ratio and knowing what to do about it.I need to learn everything myself before I go adding the supercharger to the Z(which will be a few years).

I hope you get the Altima running right soon!;)

yeah me too...

getting new tires this weekend, one of them today. and im pulling the transmission out this weekend to replace that bearing, if its not too much of a bear to tackle. im going to pull the solenoid apart too and see whats wrong with it. hopefully its a simple fix there too. id really like to get some more runs in before the az summer heat hits us and i have to wait till next season. lets see how it goes.
