I was looking at air suspension kits for our cars and found this coupe on youtube. Looks exactly like alexm's coupe. Has anyone seen this car before. Is he a member on here. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIrPtHxB ... ata_player

It's not Alex. This guy has Cali plates and it's a manual. This is indeed a rare bird.

These must have been Alex's old wheels then, since he sold them to someone in cali. Still, the car looks great.

Yeah. He picked up Alex's wheels and it was announced on facebook. His suspension system cost $4k+, which I think is ridiculous. I'm all for stance but this is way too much.. and the body kit..let's not get me started on that.. :tisk:

Yeah it does look good. Does anyone else know of any one else who is bagged. I know xxxreiderxxx is. Im thinking of going that route. I love being static but i also want to be lower. Drive low, park lower. It would also save me from axle replacements as i have gone through 2 sets

I'll be making the switch to bags soon along with some new wheels, but I'm not going to pay anywhere near $4k. Thank god for sponsors and friend hookups. And before any of you get on my case, I'm doing it because I have to drive the twisties to work every day now (which is freakin awesome) but have to deal with crappy roads and steep driveways at my new job.

AirRunner is ridiculously expensive, and he could have gotten a much cheaper setup without sacrificing the extra luxuries had he gone with K-Sport, Airrex, UAS, etc.

Even if you go with those brands. Your system will be first of it's kind so it will definitely be pricey and you don't know if it'll give you trouble, especially in the winter. And you pretty much get what you pay for. You're better off going with a cup kit

I have coils now. It'll be the first of it's kind, but since I'll be ordering through my sponsor I'll be getting the parts at 0% markup. To make it even better, my friend has been installing air for years and he's going to take care of everything in terms of the installation, so I'm not worried about that either. Not sure what you're hinting at about trouble in the winter, I live in Cali and we don't really have winter here :chuckle:

:tisk: I need to move there soon. Yea, I drive my friends bagged R32 in winter and the freezing cold messes with the air system
