Even if you go with those brands. Your system will be first of it's kind so it will definitely be pricey and you don't know if it'll give you trouble, especially in the winter. And you pretty much get what you pay for. You're better off going with a cup kitdownedzephyr wrote:I'll be making the switch to bags soon along with some new wheels, but I'm not going to pay anywhere near $4k. Thank god for sponsors and friend hookups. And before any of you get on my case, I'm doing it because I have to drive the twisties to work every day now (which is freakin awesome) but have to deal with crappy roads and steep driveways at my new job.
AirRunner is ridiculously expensive, and he could have gotten a much cheaper setup without sacrificing the extra luxuries had he gone with K-Sport, Airrex, UAS, etc.
I have coils now. It'll be the first of it's kind, but since I'll be ordering through my sponsor I'll be getting the parts at 0% markup. To make it even better, my friend has been installing air for years and he's going to take care of everything in terms of the installation, so I'm not worried about that either. Not sure what you're hinting at about trouble in the winter, I live in Cali and we don't really have winter hereSanoSuKe wrote:Even if you go with those brands.
