my mom (now i do) works at Nissan manufacturing plant here in smyrna TN. We get a VPP discont at 4.5% (or 2000 off) under invoice or something like that. plus i had always followed the rumors to the unveiling off it and gawked at it like it was amazing. Sorry i am a diehard nissan fan. Well momma came through and hooked me up when my 93 altima was beginning to hit the final tens of thousands of miles(190,000). I drove it off the lot a happy man and still feel the same way everytime i drive it.

Best 1/4 mile Time 15.152

15.152:eek: did you have the e brake on? guys are running high 14's with just an intake. I have yet to go to the track myself I'm running a CAI and a custom cat back. There is a guy on altima.net that ran 14.3 with the same mods.

Mine is an auto.I thought the times were ok for a stock Altima.I only ran 3 times and that track is not known for great times. Its kinda slick allthough I didn't spin much.I was launching at about 2krpm.

most guys around here with 5spd altimas are hitting 14.7s and such and you figure a good driver with a 5spd is going to take atleast .3 off of a time slip, so that sounds about right.

Two guys who posted their time slips did 14.67(auto against a 20mph head wind) and 14.3(5sp)

Mid 14's are not unattainable with an auto, just unlikely.

those are damn nice times, especially against a big wind like that too, strong motors in those 3.5s
