I see a lot of newer altima engines for sale cheap. Would that be sorta like the same hassle with swapping in a twin cam? This is into a single cam. I don't think I would do this, I would just like to know if and how it's possible. You'd need the wireing harness and ECU I assume. Would the transmission and clutch line up right? If not, which one would? There's a water outlet or inlet (i forgot which) on the front of the intake. Would this cause props? Would this be a viable option?

Why not use the head or block, only thing that wouldnt work is the transmission i would think.

dunno bout the block, but the head will not work. The distributor will hit the firewall unless you take a sledge hammer to your firewall and put a goiter in there to clear the distributor at the very least.

The motor wouldn't work cuz of the dist location on the head, the altima's a fwd, while the 240 is rwd. transmission won't work either. Move on.
