I have a 1994 Altima that is intermittently not firing. Sometimes after sitting for a day or two it will start but when turned off will not start back. No fire is getting to the coil when this happens. We have replaced the coil and put on all new spark plugs but still no luck. It is also running bad when it does start, like it is not getting fuel. but we took the fuel line loose coming from the filter and believe me it is getting fuel. What are some other things this could be I am out of ideas?

you need to replace the whole distributer.if you take the dis.cap off then there is another cap under that that has a disk that is getting clogged up with oil (o-ring is bad causing the oil leak)not letting if fire. mine done the same thing.put a new distributer in it and its been working great ever since.
