Car: 1997 Nissan Altima

I have a 1997 Altima w/ 142k miles. Really runs great. As of this date, my heat only works w/ the fan switch on #4, HIGH. When on #1,2 or 3 the fan does not work and I do not even get air moving thru the vents?

Possible switch, or heater motor?????

the blower motor resistor is bad. it is mounted near the blower motor on the pass side and will have a large electrical connector. should only cost $30 for the part and is easy to replace.

He is absolutely correct. Replace the blower motor resistor and all should be fine.
