im loooking at upgrading my cooling system and heard that the dual fans from the altima will fit with little modification. Does anybody know the cfm rating on them? Or have any other sugestions on fans? im getting a 2 row aluminum radiator to also help. My **** isnt running hot but it gets hot here in oklahoma so i want to be prepared. By the way this is kinda off the subject but i got my Ka24de in my 89 hatch and running. IM gonna break it in for 500 miles nice and easy befor i put my turbo on. i also got to get some money for my outlet pipe and some of my ic piping made.

there are lots of ways to make it turn on. the common ways is with the ignition sw. the other is using temperture switch so when the cooling system reaches 190 to 210 deg, it will turn on automaticly . nismo has a temp fan switch for like 100 bucks and it is adjustable. i have mines all the time on.

i control the big fan w/ a $16 autozone thermoswitch and simple rocker controls the smaller one. i can control the small fan whenever its needed (not very much). and the big fan does most of the work.

heres what the switch looks like

I used a Taurus rad on my Skyline for years...worked awsome. I had mine wired to ignition.

I'm using the dual altima's on mine right now w/ a single row koyo. Works great

Be careful about just wiring it to the ignition. My car would NOT warm up w/ my setup:

koyodual fans to ignition (both on/off at same time)80 water / 20 coolant

I ended up getting a hayden kit from kragen. Work fine now - that damn radiator is mad - my car's water temp goes down 1/4 of the gauge when I start driving past 70mph.
