I need an actual answer here.Ive asked 3 times and have gotten nothing, so stop di**ing around. I just bought a flex-a-lite fan controller. I have it hooked up as it tells me in the instructions and I have nothing. I am running dual electric fans from a 94 altima. ill include a picture of the wiring diagram. there are 2 prongs labled C and 2. the one labled 1 has no prong. C goes to the fans, and 2 got to the positive pole on the batter with a 30amp fuse. earlier I had it hooked up and it turned onthe the adjuster knob all the way to the left. there was a little click if you turned it to the right and the fan would turn off. it would do it,then stop working, and then itd do it again a few minutes later.now its not working at all. This forum is supposed to help people, and I havent had any help at all

That knob is the temp adjustment point.

So it functions as a thermostat. Set it below the "on" temp, and the fans will come on when the temp exceeds that point.

p.s. Don't be a butthole.

Ive ripped it all back out and replaced all the wiring, so I know theres nothing wrong with it. Ive had better luck without a relay than I hava with one, so Im not using one. if you need pictures then Ill get some

why dont you try compare your wiring to the many writeups wiring.AZ89two4Tsx is wright. no one here owes you anything. if you've asked three times with the attitude you have on this post, i cant blame peaple for f'n with ya. there are many wiring pictures on nico covering this. also, for something so simple you shouldnt need one.picture of your wiring would help and next time do ask tech questions on a f'kn general chat page

I set it as low as it could go and it wouldn't turn on after I warmed my engine up.

ps- thanks for trying to help and not being a d!ck like the little kid up there

If you're not gonna use a relay, I'm not helping you.

It's dumb. Your electrical system is not designed to handle that kind of instant load, repeatedly.

See my post re: your thermostat above.

Turn the knob fully clockwise until it stops. Warm up engine. When it hits the desired temp (are you using a digital thermometer?) turn the knob counter-clockwise SLOWLY just until the fan turns on.

It's not instantaneous, so be patient.

No mean to intrude. Just saying...an opinion is a solution. A solution that is thought out to be the right way by someone. Therefore it's there opinion, that; that particular way of doing something is in the right. So don't say you don't want peoples opinions. Take the opinions and scratch your chin, and ponder.Goodluck.

Sorry for getting serious on the interwebs.

Ok well the biggest problem Ive been having is I dont know which prongs on the controller need to go to the relay. I wasnt getting any answers so I just took it out.

Do I need to send 2 to the relay and splice C in with the blue wire on the diagram above?

place it therethe best you can do is to run a wire to the fuse box inside the driver side and connected in the fuel pump fuse. make sure you tie the wire like this so the fans will be at high speed.you have to trim a little bit the fans to make them fit.

it will look like this ... man mines work just fine!!!

ps : dnt run it through thge battery cuz when you turn ur car off the fans are ghoing to still running untill the engine cool of....an d then ur battery is going to die..

thank you. in the first pic it doesnt look like your using a relay. so the blue wire goes to the 30 prong on the relay, and the C prong on the controller would be spliced into that?
